My ‘98 Honda Civic Coupe
This is my Honda Civic Coupe 1.6LS *Type R Rear Bumper Lip *Sonar Red Clear Taillights *SRS Catback System with 4-2-1 Header *17″ Lenso FT-5 Gold Rims with 205/40’s *Spoon-style Carbon Side Mirrors *Type R Front Lip *Type R Grill *Xenon Lights 8000K (very light blue) *Front Upper Strutbar *Mugen Oilcap *Plasmaglow counters *Oil Pressure & Temp. meters *Carbon Shiftknob *Aluminium Shortshifter *Denso Iridiums Results: 0/60 Mph was 10,5 secs, now is 8,7 to 8,9 secs Plans are: *D16Y8 intake *OBD2 ECU to OBD1 ECU (easier to re-program) and after the re-programming of the ECU and stuff it has to have about 140 hp (it’s 115 now)…..
(answering through my new account now): It really is a 96/98 coupe and not with 99/00 headlights, bumper and fenders… A 99/00 coupe has a much wider grill, other headlights wich are a little more “flat”, and a front bumper with an extra hole on each side of the big one. But thnx for the comments anyway!
And by the way… My coupe is a European version, they’re very different from the american version. My car now looks totally different btw, I’ll post a vid of it’s new looks asap!
I just bought a 98. Coupe with Infinity speakers. It needs a dark green paint job.. To all who don’t know what headlights to get, get “Hella’s”, at Auto Zone.

Thats a nice ride, kit is clean i like that. How did you get a OBD2 ECU to OBD1 ECU? Same harness? Also did you reprogram the ECU by urself?
Because I have a 90 accord and Rev limit hits 3500. Do i need to replace the Ecu? reprogram? Let me know thanx
You will need a conversion harness. I didn’t reprogram it myself so I cant help you any further, I’m sorry! Thx for the comment

ive pretty much got the same car as u but mines standard (its same year and colour and engine) nice man i was gonna get some 17’s but not sure what style might get something black with a chrome lip and i still need to get it lowered slightly, only gonna jus b starting with mods as i pick ithe beauty up after its mot on wed, got n e tips on what to look out for problem wise?
Does Your tire Rub the fender when u have ppl loadded in the back or when u make a hard turn ?
